The ON-Thera System
More than 45 years of research and, since 2000, his own practice in Munich: the ON-Thera System grew out of this work. It combines manual therapy, osteo-chirotherapy and rehabilitation with special therapy equipment that Dr. Nicolae Olaru developed himself, for cases that are considered difficult elsewhere.
The name combines the founder’s initials – Olaru Nicolae – with the word therapy.

The ON-Thera Zentrum is located by the Westpark in Munich-Sendling. Since 2000, Dr. Nicolae Olaru has treated people here, especially those with back pain, neck pain, headaches, poor posture and joint complaints, using osteo-chirotherapy, manual therapy and targeted training.
Getting here: Easy to reach from Sendling-Westpark and Mittersendling: take the U-Bahn to Partnachplatz or Westpark, then bus 54 to Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz. Parking is available right outside.

What happens at the first appointment?
Every treatment begins with a thorough examination and a personal conversation. You then receive your personal therapy plan and a price proposal.
What does a session cost?
A therapy and prevention check with consultation costs from €50, and a 30-minute session from €150. These are example prices: you receive your personal price proposal after the first examination.
Will my health insurance cover the costs?
The ON-Thera Zentrum is a private practice: you pay for treatment yourself. In some cases, statutory health insurance covers part of the costs, for example as a goodwill gesture – please check this with your health insurer yourself beforehand. Whether your private health insurance or a supplementary policy refunds part of it depends on your plan. You receive the price proposal before the therapy begins.
Can I continue at home?
Yes. With guidance, you can carry on at home. A session of instruction in self-treatment takes about 30 minutes and costs from €50.
Can I come after an operation?
Yes, the therapy can also accompany medical treatment or follow an operation. Please bring any existing findings and specialist or medical reports to your first appointment.
